WALLFLOWER PRESS IS THE NEW PUBLISHER OF FILM & FESTIVALS MAGAZINE.
With a back-list of over 150 titles, and up to 25 new publications each year, Wallflower Press is one of the most prolific and well-respected international publishers of books on cinema and the moving image. Now after seven years as leading specialist book publishers, Wallflower Press is pleased to announce its diversification into magazine production.
From April 2008, we are taking over the publication and distribution of Film & Festivals magazine (formerly known as The FilmFestival Magazine). After a year in circulation, the magazine has become a 'must have' read for film professionals, emerging talent and film
buffs the world over. Providing practical tips and cutting edge insider information, this quarterly publication aims to inspire, provoke and propel readers' creativity and careers, and to facilitate the enjoyment of world cinema via introduction to and coverage of the international film festival circuit.
About Film & Festivals:
The magazine's content is carefully chosen to provide maximum access to the film world, from concise investigative pieces on topics such as self-distribution and 3D cinema to in-depth interviews with some of the industry's leading talents. Past interviewees have included the
writer/director Julie Delpy and Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, whilst the new April issue includes conversations with award-winning filmmaker Paul Andrew Williams and heavyweight producer Nik Powell.
The 'Travel Section' of the magazine provides time-saving insiders' information for those attending international festivals with advice on accommodation, where to see and be seen, and eating out on a budget. The 'Technology Section' explores all the latest advancements in
filmmaking and distribution with industry professionals offering advice on how to write, produce and market audiovisual work. Each issue also includes an invaluable pull-out festival calendar and guide to forthcoming submission deadlines.

Wallflower Press will be celebrating its publication of Film & Festivals magazine at the 2nd annual International Film Festival Summit (IFFS Europe) on 16 April and Hull International Short Film Festival on 18 April.
